Gilt-Leaf’s Embrace would fit best in aggressive green decks that rely on combat pressure—especially stompy, midrange, or creature-heavy strategies that want to push damage through blockers or protect a key threat from removal mid-combat. The flash plus temporary indestructible makes it a solid combat trick, letting you win fights, blank removal like *Destroy* effects, and force trample damage through, while the +2/+0 adds extra pressure. However, in most competitive formats there are generally stronger or more efficient options: **Blossoming Defense**, **Tyvar’s Stand**, and **Tamiyo’s Safekeeping** offer cheaper protection; **Rancor** provides recurring trample and power for less mana; and **Snakeskin Veil** gives lasting stats plus protection. Because three mana is relatively expensive for a combat trick and the indestructible only lasts one turn, this card would likely be fringe playable—reasonable in slower midrange or Limited environments, but probably outclassed in faster or mor
