Stronghold Overseer, Creature — demon, designed by Puddnhead first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral.
This Stronghold Overseer card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on utilizing creatures with shadow, as it provides a significant boost to their power while weakening non-shadow creatures. However, its high mana cost may limit its playability in faster-paced decks. Other cards like Nether Shadow or Avatar of Woe might be better choices depending on the deck strategy, but Stronghold Overseer could still see play in a control-oriented deck that can take advantage of its abilities effectively.

Multiple instances of shadow on the same creature are redundant.

Once a creature has been blocked, that creature remains blocked and will deal and be dealt combat damage even if it gains or loses shadow or if the blocking creature gains or loses shadow.
