Ceruledge PFL 20 fits best in an aggressive Fire-type deck that focuses on heavy Energy acceleration and hand refill, since Infernal Slash hits a massive 220 damage for just one Fire Energy but requires you to discard 4 Basic Fire Energy from your hand—meaning you’d need strong draw support and cards that rapidly recover or accelerate Fire Energy (such as Fire-type Energy acceleration abilities or Item-based recovery) to use it consistently. It would work in a deck built around constantly recycling Fire Energy from the discard pile and flooding your hand, but the requirement of discarding 4 from hand (not play) makes it clunky and inconsistent compared to stronger Fire attackers like Charizard ex variants or other Fire Pokémon that scale damage based on attached Energy rather than hand discard.
