This Energy Recycler GRI 123 card would benefit decks that heavily rely on basic Energy cards for their attacks, such as decks with high-energy cost attacks or decks that focus on energy acceleration. While Energy Recycler provides a useful effect of recycling 5 basic Energy cards from the discard pile into the deck, there are better options available like Energy Retrieval which allows you to retrieve 2 basic Energy cards directly into your hand. However, Energy Recycler can still see play in decks that require a larger amount of energy recycling and can benefit from the ability to shuffle energy cards back into the deck for future use.
