Murkrow PFL 57, Pokémon - basic, designed by Tomokazu Komiya first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Murkrow PFL 57 is a very simple, low-damage Basic that would only really fit into a beginner-level or extremely budget Darkness deck that needs a basic attacker to fill space, since it attacks for a single Darkness Energy and can potentially hit 30 damage with a coin flip; however, even in Limited or casual play its damage output is quite low and unreliable. Competitive Darkness decks generally prefer stronger Basic attackers or setup Pokémon with higher HP, better damage scaling, or useful abilities (for example, cards like Darkrai-EX in Expanded formats or more modern single-Prize Darkness attackers with consistent 60–120 damage output), making Murkrow strictly outclassed in almost every format. Because it lacks strong damage, utility, or synergy, it should not see competitive play and would only be reasonable in very low-power or theme-deck-level environments.
