About Ho-Oh CL 9

Ho-Oh CL 9, Pokémon - basic, designed by Ryo Ueda first released in May, 2022 in the set Call of Legends.

This Ho-Oh CL 9 card would benefit a Fire-type deck that focuses on energy acceleration and high damage output. Its Combustion attack can quickly deal 50 damage, while Scorching Wing has the potential to deal 100 damage, although with a risk of losing Fire Energy. However, in a competitive setting, there are stronger Fire-type Pokémon cards available with more reliable attacks and abilities, such as Reshiram & Charizard-GX, which offers higher damage output and consistency, making Ho-Oh CL 9 less likely to see play in top-tier decks.
