Tyranitar V BST 154, Pokémon - basic v single strike, designed by Ayaka Yoshida first released in May, 2022 in the set Battle Styles.
Tyranitar V's discarding effect can benefit a control or disruption deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's strategy by limiting their resources. However, given its high energy cost and the significant self-discarding from Single Strike Crush, it may not be as competitive as other cards that offer more immediate power or utility in the current TCG meta. Decks with faster setup or more consistent damage output might find better alternatives for their strategies.
