Prickly Marmoset would be a great addition to a red aggressive deck that focuses on cycling cards for additional benefits. Its first strike ability makes it a strong early game threat, and the potential to pump it up with +2/+0 whenever a card is cycled can make it a formidable attacker. However, there are better cards for this strategy, such as Lightning Rift or Astral Drift, which provide more consistent value from cycling. While Prickly Marmoset can be a fun and flavorful inclusion in a cycling deck, it may not be the most competitive choice compared to other options available.

Some cards with cycling have an ability that triggers when you cycle them, and some cards have an ability that triggers whenever you cycle any card. These triggered abilities resolve before you draw from the cycling ability.

You can cycle a card even if it has a triggered ability from cycling that won’t have a legal target. This is because the cycling ability and the triggered ability are separate. This also means that if either ability is countered (with Disallow, for example), the other ability will still resolve.
