This card, Urgent Exorcism, would be beneficial in a white-based control or midrange deck that struggles against Spirit creatures or enchantments. While it is a useful removal spell for those specific threats, there are potentially better options available such as Banishing Light or Oblivion Ring, which offer more versatility by being able to target any nonland permanent. However, Urgent Exorcism could still see play in sideboards or specific metagames where Spirits or enchantments are prevalent.
