Transcantatie Speeltest, Direct, designed by Ryan Printz first released in Nov, 2019 in the set Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2019 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Transcantation Playtest zou vooral nuttig zijn in een deck dat gericht is op synergie van spreuken, zoals Izzet (blauw-rood) controle of combo-decks die gebruik maken van instant- en tovenarij-spreuken voor maximale waarde. Door Lightning Bolt te kopiëren, kan het efficiënt verwijderen of directe schade aanrichten, terwijl het doelwit flexibiliteit biedt. Er zijn echter aantoonbaar betere opties zoals Reverberate, die niet alleen een instant of tovenarij kopieert, maar indien gewenst ook extra kopieën mogelijk maakt, waardoor het veelzijdiger wordt. Hoewel Transcantation Playtest spel in nichescenario's zou kunnen zien, is het misschien niet optimaal in vergelijking met andere bestaande kaarten die meer strategische voordelen bieden.
