Granite Shard could be a useful addition to a red burn deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing a repeatable source of damage to control the board or finish off opponents. However, there are more efficient options available such as Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning, which offer more damage for the same or lower cost. While Granite Shard may have niche applications, it may not be the most optimal choice for competitive play.
