A deck that focuses on controlling multiple Gates would benefit most from using Gatekeeper Gargoyle, as it can enter the battlefield with a significant power and toughness boost. However, there are better options available such as Gate Colossus, which offers a similar effect but with a potentially higher payoff for controlling Gates. Gatekeeper Gargoyle could still see play in a Gate-themed deck as a solid midrange threat, but it may not be a top-tier choice compared to other options available.
