Sleep naar de onderwereld, Direct, designed by Victor Adame Minguez first released in Jan, 2020 in the set Theros Beyond Death.

Een deck met een zwaar zwart devotion-thema, zoals een mono-black of black-heavy deck in Magic: The Gathering, zou het meeste profiteren van het opnemen van Drag to the Underworld. Deze kaart kan kosteneffectief zijn als je een grote toewijding aan zwart hebt, waardoor het een sterke verwijderingsoptie is voor strategieën met veel wezens. Er zijn echter potentieel betere verwijderingsspreuken beschikbaar, zoals Murder of Hero's Downfall, die in bepaalde situaties meer veelzijdigheid of efficiëntie bieden. Drag to the Underworld zou kunnen spelen in specifieke decks die consistent aan de toewijdingsvereiste kunnen voldoen en de gerichte verwijdering van wezens kunnen waarderen die het biedt.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Drag to the Underworld). The converted mana cost of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was.
