Koppeling van stromingen, Tovenarij, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Oct, 2015 in the set Battle for Zendikar and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
Een op tempo gebaseerd blauw kaartspel dat zich richt op het verstoren van de bordstatus van de tegenstander en het behouden van controle zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Clutch of Currents. Hoewel Clutch of Currents een veelzijdige optie biedt om een wezen te laten stuiteren en mogelijk een bedreiging te creëren met zijn Awaken-vaardigheid, zijn er aantoonbaar betere opties zoals Vapor Snag of Unsummon die meer directe waarde bieden tegen lagere kosten. Clutch of Currents zou nog steeds spel kunnen zien in bepaalde strategieën die het landanimatie-effect waarderen of extra veelzijdigheid zoeken in hun verwijderingsopties.

If a spell with awaken has multiple targets (including the land you control), and some but not all of those targets become illegal by the time the spell tries to resolve, the spell won’t affect the illegal targets in any way.

The land will retain any other types, subtypes, or supertypes it previously had. It will also retain any mana abilities it had as a result of those subtypes. For example, a Forest that’s turned into a creature this way can still be tapped for .

You can cast a spell with awaken for its mana cost and get only its first effect. If you cast a spell for its awaken cost, you’ll get both effects.
