Champion of the Perished, Creature — zombie, designed by Kekai Kotaki first released in Aug, 2021 in the set Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.
This card would be a great addition to a Zombie tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it can quickly grow in power with the +1/+1 counters whenever another Zombie enters the battlefield. However, there are potentially better cards for this strategy, such as Cemetery Reaper, which not only buffs Zombies but also has the ability to create more Zombie tokens. Champion of the Perished could still see play in a Zombie-focused deck for its ability to scale in power, but Cemetery Reaper may provide more utility and value overall.
