この戦争税のカードは、ゲームを引き延ばし、相手が複数のクリーチャーで攻撃するのを防ぐことを目指すコントロールデッキで有益である可能性があります。しかし、同様の効果を持ち、コスト効果の高いプロパガンダや霊的な刑務所のようなより良い選択肢がありますので、デッキに含めるためのより適した選択肢となります。戦争税には独自の使い道がありますが、より強力な代替手段が利用可能であるため、競技用のマジック：ザ・ギャザリングデッキでのプレイはそれほど多く見られないかもしれません。

In the Two-Headed Giant format, you still only have to pay once per creature.

You can choose X=0. This doesn’t have an effect most of the time, but it does mean that creatures can’t attack unless the controller chooses to pay the cost (a cost of zero is not automatically paid, so the controller can choose to not pay).
