Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis conviendrait parfaitement à un deck de cimetière Golgari axé sur l'utilisation des créatures et des ressources du cimetière. Sa capacité à être lancée depuis le cimetière, ainsi que ses mécanismes de convocation et de fouille, en font une menace puissante et rentable. Bien qu'il puisse exister d'autres options puissantes comme Tarmogoyf ou Death's Shadow, les capacités uniques de Hogaak et son potentiel de jeu explosif en font un choix viable pour les decks cherchant à tirer parti des synergies du cimetière et à submerger leurs adversaires avec une grande créature piétinante.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.
