Sharuum l'Hégémon serait un excellent ajout à un deck axé sur les artefacts dans Magic : The Gathering, en particulier dans un deck qui s'appuie sur de puissantes synergies d'artefacts et sur la récursivité. Bien que la capacité de Sharuum à renvoyer une carte d'artefact du cimetière sur le champ de bataille puisse être assez puissante, il existe d'autres cartes comme Master Transmuter ou Scrap Trawler qui peuvent offrir plus de polyvalence ou de valeur dans certaines situations. Cependant, Sharuum l'Hégémon peut toujours être un bon choix pour les decks cherchant à abuser des stratégies de récursivité des artefacts et devrait certainement être joué dans le bon contexte.
