Un deck Contrôle qui se concentre sur la perturbation du plateau adverse tirerait profit du Mécanozoaire, car il peut neutraliser un artefact ou une créature clé dès son arrivée sur le champ de bataille et le maintenir sous contrôle grâce à un marqueur d'étourdissement. Si la capacité du Mécanozoaire est utile pour contrôler le tempo, il existe parfois de meilleures alternatives, comme le Mage Réflecteur, qui offre un avantage supplémentaire grâce à son effet de rebond.
