Un deck qui vise à avoir accès au mana vert et bleu au début du jeu, comme un deck de tempo ou de contrôle Simic (vert-bleu), bénéficierait de l'utilisation du Breeding Pool. Bien qu'il existe d'autres terrains doubles qui peuvent être plus efficaces dans certaines situations, la flexibilité et la capacité de Breeding Pool à fournir les deux couleurs de mana sans entrer sur le champ de bataille engagé peuvent en faire une forte inclusion dans les decks qui nécessitent à la fois des sources de mana vertes et bleues. Unlike most dual lands, this land has two basic land types. It’s not basic, so cards such as District Guide can’t find it, but it does have the appropriate land types for effects such as that of Drowned Catacomb (from the Ixalan set).
