L'Alchimie Interdite bénéficierait aux decks de contrôle qui s'appuient sur l'avantage des cartes et les synergies du cimetière, car elle permet la sélection des cartes et remplit le cimetière pour de futurs jeux potentiels. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une carte solide, certains peuvent affirmer que des cartes similaires comme Planification stratégique ou Tracer une voie offrent une valeur ou une flexibilité plus immédiate. Cependant, Forbidden Alchemy pourrait toujours être joué dans des decks cherchant à maximiser les interactions avec le cimetière ou dans ceux ayant besoin d'options de sélection de cartes supplémentaires.

A spell cast using flashback will always be exiled afterward, whether it resolves, is countered, or leaves the stack in some other way.
