Contraflujo, Instante, diseñada por Scott M. Fischer lanzado por primera vez en May, 2020 en edición Return to Ravnica y fue impreso exactamente en 4 diferentes formas.
Un mazo de control en una combinación de colores azul y rojo se beneficiaría al incluir Counterflux en su mazo, ya que proporciona una forma poderosa de contrarrestar hechizos que no se pueden contrarrestar por otros medios. Si bien puede haber otros contrahechizos con diferentes efectos, la capacidad de Counterflux para evitar el contrajuego contra sí mismo y potencialmente contrarrestar múltiples hechizos con su costo de sobrecarga lo convierte en una buena opción para los mazos de control que buscan mantener el control del tablero e interrumpir las estrategias de los oponentes de manera efectiva. Counterflux debería entrar en juego en mazos que prioricen la interrupción y la protección de hechizos.

Casting a spell with overload doesn’t change that spell’s mana cost. You just pay the overload cost instead.

If you don’t pay the overload cost of a spell, that spell will have a single target. If you pay the overload cost, the spell won’t have any targets.

Note that if the spell with overload is dealing damage, protection from that spell’s color will still prevent that damage.
