Kricketot MT 86 would benefit a Grass-type deck that focuses on quickly setting up its Bench with Basic Pokémon. While the ability to search for a Basic Pokémon is useful, there are better cards with more powerful abilities and attacks available in the current meta, such as Shaymin EX or Celebi & Venusaur GX. Kricketot MT 86 may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other options.
