Gligar PFL 49 would fit best in a spread or disruption-style deck that benefits from early-game Poison pressure, particularly in Limited formats or very low-power casual play where incremental damage matters; its single Fighting Energy attack and automatic Poison can slowly rack up damage and synergize with cards that amplify Special Conditions (like Virbank City Gym or Hypnotoxic Laser in Expanded), but in most competitive formats it is outclassed by stronger Basic Fighting-types such as Landorus-EX (which applies immediate spread pressure), Buzzwole (with far higher damage output and bulk), or even other Gligar/Gligiscor cards with better stats or scaling attacks, making this specific Gligar generally too weak for serious play due to its low damage output and lack of additional utility beyond Poison.
