A deck that focuses on a mix of black and red permanents, such as a Rakdos or Mardu deck, would benefit from using Dega Sanctuary to gain life consistently. However, there are potentially better cards for life gain in these colors, such as Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord or Cling to Dust, which offer additional benefits beyond just life gain. Dega Sanctuary could see play in specific decks looking to gain incremental life, but may not be a top-tier choice compared to other options available.
