A deck focused on controlling the opponent's creatures and drawing cards would benefit from using Betrayal. However, there are better options like Curiosity or Ophidian Eye which provide similar effects with additional benefits. While Betrayal could see play in a budget deck or as a budget alternative, more competitive decks would likely opt for the more efficient alternatives.
