About Shredder's Revenge

Shredder's Revenge, Sorcery, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Feb, 2026 in the set Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.

**Shredder’s Revenge** is a flexible black modal spell that fits best in midrange or control decks that want optionality—especially decks that can exploit discard (Rakdos Midrange, Mono‑Black Midrange, Grixis Control) or that don’t mind giving an opponent cards if they’re pressuring life totals aggressively. The discard mode is solid against control and combo, while the “draw two, lose 2” mode can be politically useful in multiplayer or situationally helpful if you’re punishing card draw (e.g., with Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, which turns it into a brutal 6‑life swing). That said, it’s generally outclassed in competitive formats: **Duress**, **Thoughtseize**, or **Go Blank** are more efficient for discard; **Painful Truths**, **Night’s Whisper**, or **Sign in Blood** are better for card draw; and **Liliana of the Veil** provides repeatable discard pressure. Because three mana for two cards (or symmetrical advantage) is below rate in most formats, this card is more likely to see play in
