About Quilava BKT 19

Quilava BKT 19, Pokémon - stage 1, designed by Shin Nagasawa first released in May, 2022 in the set BREAKthrough.

Quilava BKT 19 would benefit a Fire-type deck that focuses on energy acceleration and card draw to increase the chances of hitting Energy cards for its Mini Eruption attack. However, there are better Stage 1 Fire-type Pokémon cards available with more powerful attacks and abilities, such as Volcanion UNB 25 or Turtonator DRM 50, which may be more effective choices for competitive play. Quilava BKT 19 could still see play in casual or theme decks for its unique discard mechanic and potential damage output with the right setup.
