About Gengar AR 16

Gengar AR 16, Pokémon - stage 2, designed by Midori Harada first released in May, 2022 in the set Arceus.

A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from using the Gengar AR 16 card due to its Curse ability, which allows for strategic damage manipulation on your opponent's side of the field. While Gengar's Shadow Skip attack provides decent damage output and bench sniping potential, there are potentially better options available in the current Pokémon TCG meta that offer more consistent and powerful effects for the same energy cost, such as Gengar & Mimikyu-GX. However, Gengar AR 16 could still see play in niche decks that aim to disrupt the opponent's setup and apply pressure with its unique abilities.
