Brace for Impact, Instant, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in May, 2006 in the set Dissension.
A deck that focuses on multicolored creatures, such as a Naya or Jeskai midrange or aggro deck, would benefit from using Brace for Impact in Magic: the Gathering. While this card can be situationally powerful in protecting and buffing multicolored creatures, there are better options available, such as Gods Willing or Apostle's Blessing, which provide similar protection at a lower cost and with additional utility. Overall, Brace for Impact may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high mana cost and the availability of more efficient alternatives.
