Barrel Down Sokenzan, Instant — arcane, designed by Greg Staples first released in Jun, 2005 in the set Saviors of Kamigawa.
This card would be beneficial in a red deck that focuses on controlling the board by bouncing Mountains back to hand to deal damage to creatures. However, there are more efficient removal spells available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning, which offer quicker and more versatile removal options. Barrel Down Sokenzan may not see much play in competitive decks due to its slower and more conditional nature compared to other removal spells.
