How does the company books challenge work?
Type your full name. The site creates a trading company with its opening balance sheet and about a thousand journal entries for one year. Post them to the ledger, close the result accounts and build the three statements.
Will I always get the same company?
Yes. The company comes from your name, ignoring capitals and accents, so typing it again on any device brings back the same books. Your teacher can open yours by typing your name.
Is my name sent anywhere?
No. The company is built inside your browser, and the name never leaves it.
How do I know if my statements are right?
Type your totals in Check your numbers. Each field says whether it matches, without showing the expected value.
