About Yamper PFL 30

Yamper PFL 30, Pokémon - basic, designed by Ayako Ozaki first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.

Yamper PFL 30 is a very low-impact Basic Lightning-type attacker, so it would only fit—if at all—into a very beginner-level or ultra-budget Lightning deck that needs simple early-game attackers to fill space, since it requires two Energy for a modest 20–40 damage that relies on a coin flip. Competitive or even semi-competitive Lightning decks have far better options, such as Miraidon ex (which accelerates Lightning Pokémon onto the Bench and hits much harder), Regieleki VMAX (which boosts Lightning damage), Raikou V (which can hit high numbers with a strong draw Ability), or even more efficient single-Prize attackers that provide better damage-to-Energy ratios or useful Abilities. Because Yamper offers no utility Ability, low damage output, and poor scaling, it is strictly outclassed in almost every serious deck and generally should not see play outside of very casual or theme-style formats.
