Tyranitar-EX AOR 42, Pokémon - basic ex, designed by Eske Yoshinob first released in May, 2022 in the set Ancient Origins.
Tyranitar-EX AOR 42 would fit well in a dark-type deck that focuses on dealing heavy damage while utilizing its ability to inflict damage on Benched Pokémon, making it synergistic with cards that can capitalize on spread damage or benefit from having multiple Pokémon on the field. However, while it has strong attacks, there are other options like Gardevoir-GX or Dragapult VMAX that may offer more versatility and lower risk due to their abilities or lower retreat costs. Given its high retreat cost and the fact that it gives up two Prize cards when knocked out, it may not see as much competitive play compared to these alternatives, but it can still be a fun and powerful card in casual play or specific strategies.
