Toxtricity PFL 68 would fit best in a Darkness-type deck that focuses on accelerating Basic Darkness Energy to Benched attackers, especially ones that benefit from having damage counters on them or don’t mind self-damage (for example, decks that use damage-based effects or healing to offset the 2 damage counters from *Sinister Surge*). However, as a Stage 1 with a relatively low-impact attack (100 for three Energy) and an Ability that only accelerates to the Bench—and only Basic Darkness Energy—it is fairly slow and underpowered compared to stronger Darkness support like **Dark Patch** (which accelerates from the discard without self-damage), **Galarian Moltres V** (which can power itself up efficiently), or more threatening Darkness attackers such as **Roaring Moon ex** or **Darkrai VSTAR** in Expanded formats.
