Topple the Statue, Instant, designed by Sidharth Chaturvedi first released in Apr, 2019 in the set War of the Spark and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Topple the Statue would be beneficial in a white control deck that focuses on tapping down opponent's artifacts to disrupt their strategy and gain card advantage. While Topple the Statue is a decent card for its cost, there are better options like Disenchant or Banishing Light that offer more versatile removal options. However, if artifact removal is a key component of the deck's strategy, Topple the Statue could still see play as a situational inclusion.

If the target permanent is an illegal target when Topple the Statue tries to resolve, it doesn’t resolve. You won’t draw a card. If the target is legal but isn’t tapped, isn’t destroyed, or is neither tapped nor destroyed, you do draw a card.
