A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from including Tentacool TM 80, as its Gentle Wrap attack can prevent the opponent's Active Pokémon from retreating, potentially stalling their strategy. However, there are better options available such as Seismitoad-EX which offers a more versatile disruption with its Quaking Punch attack. Tentacool TM 80 may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other cards.
