About Salazzle GRI 16

Salazzle GRI 16, Pokémon - stage 1, designed by Mitsuhiro Arita first released in May, 2022 in the set Guardians Rising.

This Salazzle GRI 16 card would benefit a Fire-type deck that focuses on applying status conditions like Burn and Poison to the opponent's Active Pokémon. While it has decent damage output with Flamethrower, its real strength lies in its ability to leave the opponent's Active Pokémon Burned and Poisoned upon evolution, adding extra damage over time. However, in competitive play, there are better Stage 1 Fire-type Pokémon cards available that offer more versatility and power, such as Volcanion UNB 25 which can accelerate Energy and hit for higher damage. Salazzle GRI 16 may struggle to find a place in top-tier decks due to its limited utility and power level compared to other options.
