About Rapidash TM 8

Rapidash TM 8, Pokémon - stage 1, designed by Kyoko Umemoto first released in May, 2022 in the set HS—Triumphant.

A deck that focuses on Fire-type Pokémon and status conditions would benefit from including Rapidash TM 8, especially with its Ring of Fire attack that inflicts Burn on the Defending Pokémon. While Rapidash's Fiery Spirit ability to prevent confusion is useful, there are other Stage 1 Fire-type Pokémon with more powerful attacks and abilities that may be more beneficial in competitive play, such as Volcarona-GX or Reshiram & Charizard-GX. Rapidash TM 8 could see situational play in decks looking to control the opponent's options with status conditions, but may not be a top choice in highly competitive environments.
