A control or midrange deck that aims to draw a lot of cards and generate card advantage would benefit from using Pursuit of Knowledge, as it provides a way to accumulate study counters and eventually draw a significant number of cards. However, there are better options available such as Sphinx's Revelation, which provides immediate card draw and life gain. Pursuit of Knowledge could see play in more casual or themed decks, but in competitive settings, there are more efficient card draw options to consider.
