Nemata, Grove Guardian, Legendary creature — treefolk, designed by John Avon first released in Feb, 2001 in the set Planeshift and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's a key card in 1 combos.
Nemata, Grove Guardian would be a great fit in a token-based deck strategy, particularly in a green ramp deck. Its ability to create Saproling tokens and pump them up by sacrificing them can quickly overwhelm opponents with a swarm of creatures. While there may be more efficient token generators in Magic: The Gathering, Nemata's ability to pump up existing Saprolings sets it apart. It could definitely see play in decks looking to flood the board with creatures and go wide for victory.
