Magmortar UL 2 would benefit a Fire-type deck that focuses on accelerating Energy attachment and discarding cards from the deck for additional damage output. However, there are better Stage 1 Fire-type Pokémon cards available, such as Reshiram & Charizard-GX, which offer higher damage potential and versatility in competitive play.
