Hungry Graffalon (3G, Reach, Increment) would fit best in a mono-green or green-based midrange/ramp deck that regularly casts increasingly expensive spells—such as Green Devotion, Ramp, or even a +1/+1 counters shell—because its Increment ability rewards you for spending large chunks of mana, letting it scale naturally as you curve into 5–7 mana threats; however, at four mana it competes with extremely efficient and format-defining options like Questing Beast, Old-Growth Troll, Thrun, Breaker of Silence, or even Oracle of Mul Daya and various planeswalkers, which provide immediate board impact or value without requiring additional mana investment to grow.
