Furnace Brood could be particularly beneficial in an aggressive red deck that aims to control the board and finish games quickly, as its ability to prevent regeneration can help deal with key threats that rely on regeneration, such as certain creatures with indestructible or those that can be returned from the graveyard. However, there are arguably more effective options available, such as Searing Blaze or Lightning Bolt, which provide direct damage to both creatures and players, offering more versatility. While Furnace Brood has its niche, it may not see widespread play compared to these more efficient damage-dealing spells, unless the meta specifically favors creatures that regenerate.
