Drytron Fafnir, Field spell card, designed by Konami first released in Jun, 2022 in the set Genesis Impact.

Drytron Fafnir is particularly beneficial in a Drytron deck, which revolves around Ritual Summoning and utilizing Level manipulation to streamline plays. Its ability to search for Drytron Spell/Trap cards enhances consistency, while the Level reduction effect synergizes well with the deck's strategy of quickly summoning powerful Ritual monsters like Drytron Alpha Thuban or Drytron Zeta Alda. While there are other strong field spells, such as Necrovalley for Graveyard control or Mystic Mine for stalling, Drytron Fafnir's unique effects make it a key card for Drytron strategies.
