This card, Dingus Egg, would benefit a deck that focuses on land destruction or sacrificing lands for value, as it punishes opponents for losing lands by dealing damage to them. However, there are better cards like Manabarbs or Zo-Zu the Punisher that provide more consistent and impactful damage to opponents for playing lands. Dingus Egg may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its high cost and limited effectiveness compared to other options available.
