Decidueye-GX can be a valuable addition to a Grass-type deck focused on recycling resources from the discard pile and spreading damage with its Feather Arrow ability. However, its high energy cost and vulnerability to Fire-type Pokémon weakness may limit its effectiveness in competitive play. Other cards like Rillaboom with its ability to accelerate energy or other Grass-type GX Pokémon with more versatile attacks may be better options depending on the deck strategy and meta.
