About Call to the Void

Call to the Void, Sorcery, designed by Liiga Smilshkalne first released in May, 2022 in the set Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value or has ways to recur creatures from the graveyard would benefit from using Call to the Void, as it can help clear the board of threats while potentially leaving your own key creatures untouched. However, there are better cards like Damnation or Toxic Deluge that offer more flexibility and efficiency in board wipe effects, making them more popular choices in competitive play. Call to the Void could see situational play in certain decks, but its high mana cost and limited scope may limit its overall effectiveness in most scenarios.
