Blot Out, Instant, designed by Chris Cold first released in May, 2023 in the set March of the Machine: The Aftermath and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck focused on controlling the opponent's board and disrupting their strategy would benefit from including Blot Out in their deck. While Blot Out can be effective in certain situations, there are arguably better options available such as Hero's Downfall or Vraska's Contempt which provide more versatility and immediate impact. Whether Blot Out should see play ultimately depends on the specific strategy and meta of the deck it is being considered for.
