About Angel of Fury

Angel of Fury, Creature — angel, designed by Keith Parkinson first released in Jun, 1998 in the set Portal Second Age and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

This Angel of Fury card would fit well in a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and outlasting opponents. Its ability to be shuffled back into the library upon death provides resilience and longevity, making it a valuable recurring threat. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering play, there are stronger Angel cards like Baneslayer Angel or Lyra Dawnbringer that offer more impactful abilities and stats for a similar mana cost, making them better choices for most decks. Angel of Fury may not see much play in top-tier decks due to its relatively lower power level compared to other options available.

Rules

10/01/08

If Angel of Fury is removed from the graveyard after the ability triggers but before it resolves, it will remain in its zone when its owner shuffles their library. Similarly, if a replacement effect has it move to a different zone instead of being put into the graveyard, the ability won’t trigger at all.
